Wildlife Walks

If building dens in the woods, pedalling the peaceful lanes or roaming the beaches are not enough to keep everyone happy, a local ranger will take you out for a wildlife walk through the Estate's hidden corners. You might go fishing on the hill lochs or rivers, hunt for deer in the forests, seek rare birds of prey, or quietly watch for pine marten or the elusive wildcat.

And while you're out, our housekeeper will restore domestic order to your lodge. To make sure that everyone gets the chance to relax we will happily put you in touch with a local cook.

Grown-ups might also appreciate one of the two local distilleries, the high-quality textile and craft outlets in the area, the fresh local food, the swimming pools, tennis courts and seven golf courses nearby - and above all, the easy pace of northern life.
